We hosted a very successful summer conference in Syracuse on July 14-16, 1998. A particular note of interest about this conference is that it was co-hosted by ESF, Onondaga Community College, HSC @ Syracuse and Syracuse University. This worked extremely well between the publics and a private that we hope to continue this venture next summer. Our summer conference for 1999 will be in Buffalo, with the hopes of the co-hosting theme again. The dates have not been established yet, but as soon as they are, I will pass them along to SUBOA.

We recently hosted a 2 day conference for administrative support staff, with the theme of the conference being "Wellness, Health and Happiness". It was attended by approx 50 people and all seem to take positive feelings from the gathering.

The Exec Committee of PPAA is attempting to determine from SUCF if they would like to set an agenda for a winter meeting. In the past, this conference has been held in January or February in the Saratoga Springs area. As soon as I hear back from Mike Clemente, we will decide on whether or not to host a winter conference.

The Exec Committee is also in the process of determining the necessary standing committees and hopefully will be completed with this process in the next month or so.
