Standing Committee Report SUNY Telecommunications Officers Association (TOA) Report to SUBOA: September 28, 2000 By Richard Bentley, Member, TOA Exec. Committee On behalf of the TOA Chair, William Gruzska (Oswego), Mr. Bentley reviewed the following: TOA's membership directory is available at the following website: http://aces.alfredtech.edu/directory.htm TOA has two meeting per year and is continuing to have it's major Spring conference jointly with the other SUNY technology organizations (COA and EdTOA). TOA's Fall '00 meeting is being held in conjunction with ACUTA (Assoc of College and University Telecom Administrators) Northeast Region meeting to increase the organizational resources available for telecom professional development sessions. November 6 & 7, 2000 in Quality Inn Syracuse; draft meeting brochure was distributed. SUBOA is already aware that campus participation in such professional development organizations is greatly enhanced by synergy of member participation. Each Business Officer is requested to contact their campus Telecommunications Manager and encourage their participation at this November meeting.
